The clients were adding a swimming pool to their suburban site, and wanted to rejuvenate the adjoining front garden to provide a contemporary, low maintenance look for their young family. Some hydrangeas and citrus were to be retained, along with the existing garden edging, and they wanted to bring focus back to the under-utilised fountain.

New planting of varied textures and colours will provide a sense of enclosure as it matures, and combines with the presence of water to add a calm and peaceful atmosphere to their outdoor area.
